I love how many of my friends are turning up on Ravelry! I've reconnected with a few people who I had completely lost touch with, and it's got to the point where I check Ravelry before my regular emails or even Facebook. Hooray for knitters!
The only downside to this addiction is that it makes me covet all the beautiful yarns I can't buy (except online, which isn't the same. Must.Fondle.Yarn!) and lust over stunning patterns which I know I would never be able to wear. That said, it's saving me a fair bit of money. Nearly enough money to say, get a flight out of here to go and buy more yarn. Ah, catch-22.
